(This article is the English version of the article Ya Yaratıklar İnsanları Yerse?)

I’m here today after the words of a little six-year-old lady in a post I saw on LinkedIn. It is such a beautiful and clear reminder about everything. Her parents are breaking up, and this lady tells her mother that she doesn’t want too much from them, she just wants them to be just friends without glorifying events and goals. For the record, these lines will contain quotes from this little lady. :)

Tiana. A 6-year-old little person. She wants her parents to stay friends and everyone to be friends. Everyone to smile. Everything to smile actually. For now, I can’t think of another goal that is so easy and so difficult at the same time. In her speech, she keeps adding sentences like this from time to time.

T I don’t wanna be mean, I am not trying to be a bully.

So, what I mean is really what I’m saying, excuse me if my writing style breaks it down.

This is how I started in one of my previous posts. Fear of being misunderstood and a desire to draw attention to the core. Because sometimes words can go to very different places due to the memories of others or the stereotyped way of understanding. However, how different the purpose and starting point is.

I want everyone to smile too, just like Tiana. And this is not a desire focused on necessarily long-term gigantic dreams in big huge balloons.

T Keep it low and “just try your best.”

Just the feeling of having done your best is really a reason to smile. Maybe those who have tried meditation or studies in this way can understand me much better at this point:

Sometimes we don’t even realize how much we frown.

It’s not a botox embellishment,

it’s a reminder to curl the lips more,

dear reader.

Unfortunately, sometimes the simplest things turn out to be attitudes that are impossible to put into practice without any reason. Happiness is -again- unfortunately not something we expect, but something we extract. Let’s end this with a quote, for now, we can talk about it more another day.

“Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy. No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy. Your happiness will not come to you. It can only come from you.” Ralph Marston

T “I want everyone to be smiling.”

Moreover, this sweet lady talks about the smile of everything. I want everyone to smile, especially my grandmother, she says when she sees someone.

I am one of those who think that this is a sign of “we forgot something” rather than saying “oh childhood, we lost these feelings”. Memorable, demanding effort.

T “Your heart is something and you should stay where your heart is. Everyone else’s heart is something.”

Not just my heart or my mother’s heart, the heart of the people I love, but everyone’s heart.

T “If I can be nice, I think all of us can be nice, too.”

We’ve always heard it the other way around. Moreover, our inner voices. If he/she is doing it, I’ll do it too. Even the one that doesn’t look close to motivation based speeches,
>Oh! Look at this person with big achievements and no extraordinary talents, I would do it too… Life!<

This sentence of Tiana fascinated me actually.

So if I can do it, you can too.

This is something that can be done.

I don’t have a trick, you can do it too.

We can.

How lovely she elaborates staying steady. Fascinating. She melts itself in such a selfless context without any devaluation that makes me remember her age again. S I X.

I totally agree with Tiana. No need to exaggerate or sink to the mud. If we do our best, feeling with our hearts, this will be done.
I’ll end with my favourite part of her words.

“If we live in a world where everyone is being mean, everyone is going to be a monster in their future. What if there are just a few people and monsters eat them? Then no one will ever be here. Only the monsters in our place. We need everyone to be a person, everyone!”

We need everyone to be a person, everyone!

You can find her speech here.
